Hot on the heels of their October win at the Hotel Awards Ireland, the Newgrange Hotel in Navan, Co Meath is delighted to be awarded the accolade of best rated wedding venue in County Meath from weddingdates.ie.
Trim and Navan are set for a €2M boost to their local economy. The Irish National Darts Organisation and the Cusack Hotel Group have signed a significant three-year deal. Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Trim has announced that it has signed contracts with the INDO which will see up to 10,000 Dart Competitors travel to the Resort for the 2021,2022 and 2023 for the National Darts Championships. Knightsbrook Resort will host the Main Inter Counties Championships in February and B Inter Counties Championship in April each year. Hotel General Manager, Patrick Curran announced this will be a tremendous boost to Cusack Hotels and the wider Meath economy to have these prestigious dart events come to our county. Sister Property, Newgrange Hotel in Navan have also secured the Youth’s Inter Counties Darts Championships in March during the same three years.

Last Wednesday the 22nd of August the finalists were announced for the Hotel and Catering review Gold Medal awards. Now in their 30th year the awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the hospitality industry. The excitement is building here in Navan for the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018, being held over the road in Drogheda. The town is set to host over 400,000 people from across Ireland and the world for the biggest Irish Music and dance event in the world. This coming April the Newgrange Hotel will celebrate an amazing 20 years in business on Bridge street in Navan. On the 03rd April 1998 the Cusack family opened the doors to a brand new 32 bedroom hotel (more rooms were added in the 2000’s) and to a hospitality tradition that would sew the seeds of a hotel group in the coming years.
The 28th September 2017 saw the Newgrange Hotel in Navan host an evening of new food, wine and cocktail options in their Bridge restaurant. Guests were treated to the beautiful sounds of Cathal Dolan, enjoyed a sample of cocktails and wines from the new drinks menu, and savoured the amazing food on offer.
