When October rolls around, one of the best things to do in Meath is attend a spooky Halloween event, and the Haunted Spooktacular Halloween event at Grove Gardens in Kells is one of them. If you are looking for an event that is full of laughter, smiles and good times - then this is not the place for you. If you prefer terror, extreme fear and plenty of scares - then welcome.

Every year, a strange occurrence happens on Grove Open Farm. The usually picturesque rural farm is covered in shadows, while mutants and the undead appear from the mist. This year, the fear factor has been put into overdrive with the organisers saying: "If you aren't scared - you must be dead".

Navigate the terrifying tunnel of horrors which is sure to make your skin crawl, or watch the lifelike exorcism which will send cold shivers down your spine. Guests will need to make their way through the dark corridors and tight spaces as they try to escape the horror. Thanks to the excellent special effects, spooky darkness and confusion, guests will have their hearts pounding and adrenaline racing throughout the event.

The Haunted Spooktacular will only be on for six nights, so ensure that you book early. Please note that this event is only for teenagers and adults. The special effects and lighting also make this event not suitable for pregnant women or people with claustrophobia, photo sensitive epilepsy, as well as those who are prone to seizures or respiratory problems

Book your hotel accommodation in Ireland now and prepare for one of the scariest things to do in Meath during October.
