Our Top five tips for your wedding photography
It’s one of the most important parts of your wedding day. Capturing the special moments that you can look back on to remind you of the best day of your life. Ireland is lucky in that it is full of great photographers. But what should you be looking for when you choose a photographer? Here are our top 5 tips.
Word of mouth is a powerful tool. If you best friend or sibling had them, then chances are they are good. Also look up online reviews on wedding forums or look for recommendations direct from these forums. If you aren’t getting a reply chances are that no one is going out of their way to push them.
- Photo Quality
Make sure your photographer has samples of the photo quality to show you. The pictures may look lovely on the day but make sure they print well also.
Its really important that you get on well with your photographer. This person is going to be spending a lot of time with you on the day of your wedding so if you feel that you have completely different personalities then maybe choose someone else. If you are a pretty laid back person then there is no point getting someone who wants you to jump on top of a bale of hale for 20 minutes.
- Value for money
Wedding pictures are important but don’t blow the budget! There are lots of photographers out there but make sure you pick one that includes everything you want in your package. Beware of hidden extras!
A lot of photographers have a very distinctive style now. Some photographers like a lot of candid shots and others a lot of posed shots. Make sure you let your photographer know which ones you are after.
