Newgrange News - Navan On Ice

Although there are lots of things to do in Meath, Navan on Ice will be something completely new and unique for both residents and locals to enjoy. This spectacular event sees Navan enjoy its first ever ice-rink which will provide family fun for the upcoming festive season. Added to this, you can also enjoy spectacular Meath accommodation at the Newgrange Hotel.

Navan on Ice will be situated at the Navan Racecourse and will run from 15 November 2010 to 9 January 2011. There will be a number of events taking place during this time, including a regular schedule of exciting horse races at the course. Visitors can look forward to skating discos, Santa's Grotto and a number of special offers. On top of this, there will also be cloak room facilities, food and soft drinks on sale, Christmas markets and stalls. Company functions, Christmas events and birthday parties can all be enjoyed at Navan on Ice.

For those who have never put on a pair of ice skates, don't worry, there will also be skating lessons available to assist you in becoming a pro ice-cutter. Lessons start at beginner classes and run up to intermediate sessions. Navan on Ice will be open from Monday to Saturday every week, and will be open from 10:30 to 22:30 on Monday to Friday, while Saturday's opening time is an hour earlier at 09:30.
